YES Bank hikes rates

Coimbatore, July 6

YES Bank has hiked its PLR by 50 basis points to 16.50 and effected a 25 to 50 basis points hike in its deposit rates across various tenures. The revision is with effect from July 3. A bank release said that it would not levy pre-payment penalty. For 12 to 18-months deposit, the rate has been hiked by 25 basis points to 9.75 per cent (9.50 per cent). Senior citizens would earn an additional 0.5 per cent at 10.25 per cent against the earlier rate of 10 per cent.
