Ms Preeti Vyas, Business Head, Depot, told Business Line that studio, kitchen and front end would cater to the customer requirements. The studio would help in the clicking of the photos, kitchen where the processing equipment are kept and the front end, the kiosk through which images could be transferred from the digital media, selected, modified and sent for printing. She said the technology for the Depot was from HP.

Camera phone, digital camera, memory card, USB (pen drive), CD, negatives, old photo prints, the medium does not matter. Ms Vyas said that there are three types of products and services, standard prints in various sizes, customers’ pictures on magnets, mugs, T-shirts, tiles and so on, as also glamour photography, family portraits and so on. Currently, there are four depots, three in Mumbai and one in Surat, and the roll out plan is to have 25 within the next six months. These would be in Hyderabad, New Delhi, Kolkata and Pune. The format is two-fold, independent stores as also shop-n-shop. There are at present two independent stores in Mumbai and it would be six within a year, she said.
