Codissia to organise programme on duty drawback


The programme is being organised to enable members to familiarise themselves with the procedures

Coimbatore, July 8 The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (Codissia) and the Commissionerate of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax, Coimbatore are organising a programme on duty drawback, service tax dispute resolution scheme and automation of Central Excise and Service Tax (ACES) on July 10 at Coimbatore.

Mr. C. Rajendran, Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax, Coimbatore, will inaugurate the programme.

Mr K. Ilango, President, Codissia, in a release, said that it is imperative to be aware of the changes in the service tax rules since new services are added to the list regularly.

The Coimbatore Commissionerate was implementing a major automation exercise which will change the way Central Excise & Service Tax will be administered.

The programme is being organised to enable the members to familiarise themselves with the procedures.
