‘Understanding team mates vital in business’

Hyderabad, July 9 Understanding the team players is critical for a leader and business and sports are similar in this regard, according to Dr Richard Charlesworth, international hockey player and coach. Addressing the students at the Indian School of Business (ISB) on ‘Leadership, Teamwork, Strategy and Motivation’ here on Tuesday, Dr Charlesworth said a good leader was one who is able to create a ‘leader-full’ team instead of having one to lead the team.

A good team player was one who had faith in the team’s decision, he said.
