Pharmaceuticals Marketing - IPR Patents facilitation centre opened Hyderabad, July 12 The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) announced the inauguration of a Patents Facilitation Centre here on Friday. Apart from Hyderabad, the centres are also being set up in Mumbai and Delhi with the support of the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals. These centres are expected to come up in the next two years. The Hyderabad centre was inaugurated by Mr V.S. Sampath, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India. The se Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and Patents Facilitation Centres are expected to provide small and medium pharmaceutical manufacturers and exporters the information and knowledge on patents, status of patents of pharmaceutical products compared with other countries.
