Mumbai, July 14 SEBI, on Monday announced that Mr Madhu Sudan Sahoo has joined the capital markets regulator as a whole-time director.

Mr Sahoo was Director of Capital Markets division at the Ministry of Finance prior to this. SEBI said the appointment is with immediate effect.

Mr Abraham, an IAS officer from Kerala, has also been appointed as a whole-time director with SEBI. Sources said he is likely to join next week
