‘Hire people with right attitude’

Coimbatore, July 15 Mr Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman and CEO, HCL Infosystems, has urged companies to hire people with the right attitude. He was addressing members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Coimbatore zone and the Young Indians (Coimbatore Chapter) on ‘Today’s Indian CEO – Competencies that will take the nation forward’. CEO, he said stood for ‘Customer, Employee and Owner’.‘The customers are the focus of any business, followed by employees – who are the asset, that keeps an organisation going and finally, the owners, who are answerable to both — the former by its products and the latter by keeping them motivated and creating a conducive working environment, to perform and grow.’
