Everonn net rises five-fold

Chennai, July 15 Everonn Systems India Ltd, a Chennai-based education and training company, reported a five-fold increase in net profit at Rs 3.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 0.61 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The increase was mainly due to the company’s increased business from ICT (information, communication and technology) projects in schools and colleges. Everonn, through its virtual and technology-enabled learning solutions (ViTELS), connects to colleges and retail centres across the country offering skill development and job-oriented programmes. The courses offered to students facilitate bridging the gap between academia and industry. It added 993 schools under the ICT projects and 61 educational intuitions (schools and colleges) under its ViTELS in the quarter. With this, Everonn’s points of presence have gone up to 4,157 educational institutions.
