Sanwaria Agro Oils net doubles

Mumbai, July 16

Sanwaria Agro Oils, one of the soya bean processors and producers of refined soy oil, has reported a 139.3 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 20.81 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2008. Net sales were at Rs 274.34 crore (Rs 148.97 crore) in the quarter under review. On paid up capital of Rs 8.70 crore, the earnings per share stood at Rs 2.39 for the first quarter against Rs 0.99 in the same period last year. —
