United Bank branch at Rohtak

Kolkata, July 17

United Bank of India has opened its 1,407th branch at Rohtak (Haryana). With this, the number of branches in northern India stands at 82. Mr T.M. Bhasin, Executive Director of the bank, said in a press release that the bank was enhancing its presence in North Indian States by opening new branches. “Sixty-nine out of these 82 branches are CBS-enabled and 55 of the branches are RTGS-enabled. This number will go up to 69 within a week’s time,” he said. — Our Bureau
