New Delhi, July 18 Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has revised upwards its prime lending rate (PLR) by 50 basis points to 13.75 per cent effective July 15.

However, the existing interest rates on education loans and housing loans upto Rs 20 lakhs, whether partly or fully availed, would not be affected by the change in PLR.

A bank release also said that rates on deposits have been revised upwards in the range of 25-75 basis points. A time band of 500 days has been introduced, under which deposits would earn interest of 9.55 per cent per annum.
