Nilgiri's MD quits

Bangalore, July 19

Mr N.C. Venugopal, Managing Director, The Nilgiri Dairy Farm Pvt Ltd, has decided to move out of the company to explore opportunity in the engineering infrastructure segment. "I have expressed a desire to the present majority shareholders Actis to move on and we are working out the timing of my exit which could be sometime in August," Mr Venugopal confirmed to Business Line. While the company is yet to find a successor to Mr Venugopal, it has formed a committee of senior executives from within to carry on with the "progress made in the last 20 months," he said. -Our Bureau
