BEML Q4 net rises

Bangalore, July 20

BEML Ltd board has recommended a final dividend of 65 per cent for the year 2007-08, the company informed BSE. For the quarter ended March 31, 2008, it posted an audited net profit of Rs 118.5 crore (Rs 93.51 crore) – or nearly 27 per cent growth year-on-year. The total income increased to Rs 1,099.43 crore (Rs 958.48 crore) – up nearly 15 per cent year-on-year. Post-audit, for the entire year ended March 31, 2008, the company posted a net profit of Rs 225.65 c rore (Rs 204.93 crore). Total income increased to Rs 2,634.43 crore (Rs 2,479.28 crore). The audited consolidated net profit was Rs 227 crore (Rs 205.9 crore) and total income increased to Rs 2,627.29 crore (Rs 2,473.45 crore).
