Shiva Cement despatches up

Coimbatore, July 21

Shiva Cement Ltd has informed that the despatch of cement during Q1 (April 2008-June 2008) is up by 24.1 per cent against Q1 of 2007. However, clinker despatch was low during the period in view of the forthcoming kiln shutdown for maintenance. Overall, despatch of cement and clinker put together was up by 2.6 per cent only. —
