Our Bureau Mumbai, July 22 Tata Power Company Ltd has announced its partnership with the Government of Bhutan to develop the 114 MW run-of-the-river hydroelectric power project over River Dagachhu in Bhutan. The project will be executed by the Special Purpose Vehicle — Dagachhu Hydro Power Corporation Ltd in which Tata Power had agreed to pick up a 26 per cent stake. Tata Power declined to disclose the amount invested by the company for the stake. The main developer of the project will be Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd.
