Titan Industries Ltd, the leading watchmaker, has announced the offer – Titan exchange offer 2008 – which enables customers to bring in any watch to the outlets and exchange it for a new one at a discount of 25 per cent. Mr Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Manager (Retail operations), South, said the exchange offer “is a powerful trigger to encourage customer to get a new watch for an old one and we will also be contributing to environment by adopting the eco-frie ndly process for recycling the old watches.” The offer, he said, would lead to the overall expansion of the watch market by reducing the purchase cycle. The offer, valid from July 25 to August 24 at all Titan outlets, would not be applicable to Nebula, the 18K gold watches. — Our Bureau
