Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram, July 23 There is no proposal at present to introduce power cut or increase the duration of load-shedding in Kerala, said the Electricity Minister, Mr A.K. Balan.

The Minister said in reply to questions in the State Assembly on Wednesday that the Government had not taken any policy decision to extend subsidy to the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) to reduce its financial burden arising out of purchase of power from other States.
