Mumbai, July 23 Mr Mahesh L. Soneji has joined the Bombay Stock Exchange as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Soneji is a fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a professional with over two decades of experience in the securities market in the country.

He was a member of Dr Chandrate Committee, related to Delisting of Securities on the Stock Exchanges and member of M. R. Mayya Committee, for framing the model rules and bye-laws for the stock exchanges.
