Private Banks States - Tamil Nadu Axis Bank opens branch in Karur Our Bureau Karur, July 24 The spacious branch of Axis Bank here was inaugurated by the bank’s President-South, Mr C.P. Rangarajan, on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rangarajan said Axis Bank is striving to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and has dovetailed technology with expertise to sustain growth. “Through our extensive branch and ATM network, we are able to reach out to a large cross-section of customers, both retail and corporate,” he said. Mr Rangarajan said that the bank had a network of 700 branches, 20 extension counters and over 2,900 ATMs across 438 cities and towns in India, enabling it to reach out to a large cross-section of customers with an array of products and services. Global presenceAxis Bank has a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai, and seeks to expand its international presence further. The bank has the second largest EDC network, the third largest ATM network in India and also the third largest base of debit cards in the country, Mr Rangarajan pointed out.
