Announcements Our Bureau Coimbatore, July 24 Crisil Ltd’s Board of Directors has approved a proposal to establish a subsidiary in Poland with an investment of up to $2,25,000 by Irevna Ltd UK, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Crisil and a subsidiary/branch in Dubai with an investment up to $ 5,00,000, to establish delivery centres for outsourced research business procured by Irevna. Diamond Cables Ltd has received an order to supply transformers, cables, conductors and other electrical products aggregating $37 million from one of the leading power utilities in Africa. The order, to be met over a period of two years, includes supply of 2,450 transformers and various other products .The order is one of the largest electrical equipment orders placed by a utility in Africa to Indian suppliers against global competitive bidding. Surya Roshni Ltd’s board of directors, at its meeting to be held on July 31, will discuss, finalise and approve the project of manufacturing of spiral pipes at an approximate cost of Rs 140 crore either in Surya Roshni Ltd or in a subsidiary to be formed by the company. United Phosphorus Ltd’s board of directors has approved bonus issue of equity shares in the ratio of 1:1 as on a record date to be fixed later for this purpose.
