Crisil net trebles at Rs 32.01 cr

Mumbai, July 25

Crisil’s net profit nearly trebled to Rs 32. 01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, from Rs 11.34 crore in the year-ago period. The operating income increased following the amalgamation of four wholly-owned subsidiaries of Crisil (Credit Rating Information Services of India Ltd) with the company. The total income rose by 131 per cent to Rs 98.59 crore (Rs 42.62 crore). The consolidated net profits of the Crisil group increased by 120.6 per cent to Rs 35.55 crore against Rs 16.11 crore. The total income increased by 36.5 per cent to Rs 132.31 crore (Rs 96.91 crore). The board has recommended an interim dividend of Rs 10. —
