GAIL, BPCL sign pact
New Delhi, July 25
GAIL (India) Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the areas of natural gas — transmission and distribution, LPG pipeline, city gas projects, exploration and production, use and marketing of naphtha, infrastructure projects and technology and knowledge sharing. The MoU was signed by the Director (Business Development) GAIL, Mr A.K. Purwaha and the Director (Markting), BPCL, Mr S. Radhakrishnan. Given the
economic and environmental advantages of pipeline transportation, both the companies have agreed to cooperate in developing LPG pipeline network from existing/new production centres. —
