Allcargo Global Logistics posted 66.60 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 34.14 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2008, against Rs 20.49 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. , according to company sources. It has posted 35.27 per cent growth in income from operations at Rs 544.31 crore (Rs 402.37 crore). The revenue from the multimodal transport operation registered significant growth of 48.5 per cent to Rs 85.13 crore. The throughput of the MTO increased by 5.9 per cent to 7,990 TEUs. The earnings from the container freight station and the inland container depot increased by 50.77 per cent to Rs 35.56 crore (Rs 23.59 crore). —
