Our Bureau Mumbai, July 29 Hindustan Unilever Ltd has appointed Mr Justice M.S. Rane (Retd) as the ombudsman for consumer disputes redressal. This is the first time an FMCG company has appointed an independent and expert mediation procedure for the benefit of its consumers. The ombudsman will further augment the efforts of the company’s consumer care helpline services – Levercare.
