Akruti City’s net zooms

Mumbai, July 29

Mumbai-based real estate developer Akruti City, on a consolidated basis, has posted a 284 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 170.90 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, against Rs 44.48 crore logged in the same period a year ago. Total income rose to Rs 238.86 crore (Rs 70.62 crore). During the quarter, Akruti City delivered on several commercial complexes in Mumbai in areas such as Mahalaxmi, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Andheri, Kanjurmarg, Jogeshwari and Thane. The company ha s commenced the development of residential townships in Mumbai and Pune. Akruti City’s joint ventures include a biotech park in Baroda and a large IT park in Hinjewadi, in Pune.
