FAPCCI seeks uniform power supply
Hyderabad, July 29
The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of
Commerce and Industry requested the Chief
Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, to ensure uniform
distribution of power across the State. A delegation of the
industry body, led by Mr Suraj Prasad Agarwal, President
of the association met Dr Reddy on Tuesday and
submitted a memorandum in this regard. The irregular
power cut had an adverse impact on the industry causing
heavy losses, the delegation said. Referring to the
shortage of diesel, the delegation requested the State to
purchase diesel from other States and supply the same at
4 per cent value added tax for captive power generation,
