Indraprastha Gas has new MD

New Delhi, July 30

Mr Rajesh Vedvyas has taken over as Managing Director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the sole supplier of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in the capital. According to a press release issued by the company, Mr Vedvyas took over the reins of IGL from Mr Om Narayan, who has been repatriated to GAIL (India) Ltd, from where he would be superannuating on July 31. IGL is a joint venture of GAIL and BPCL, with Government of National Capital Territory of De lhi holding a five per cent equity stake. He was earlier serving as Zonal Head of GAIL at Hyderabad before joining the current assignment.
