Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software Megasoft Q2 profit up 28% Our Bureau Hyderabad, July 30 Megasoft has recorded revenues of Rs 84.98 crore with a profit of Rs 12.13 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, a growth of 41-per cent in revenues and 28-per cent in profit against revenues of Rs 60.11 crore and profit of Rs 9.45 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Last fiscal ended December 31, 2007, the company closed with revenues of Rs 297.17 crore and profit of Rs. 56.01 crore. New areasThe Managing Director of Megasoft, Mr G.V. Kumar, in a statement said “the company expanded its presence in new areas including innovative mobile services. Our pipeline remains robust and we expect to grow in the next two quarters.” The management said that the company bagged six new contracts during the quarter, including four telecom products business.
