Letters Serial blasts This refers to Response to the article “Serial blasts: Don’t blame the Government alone” (Business Line, July 29). Besides the technology in execution, the imported terrorists have shown their acumen in strategic planning, attacking important sites and hospitals where the victims were taken. Of late, many Muslim leaders themselves condemn such terror activities. However, one should realise that terrorists cannot get settle so deep in the country and draw up plans without the awareness of local hosts. The government should immediately look for the local hosts and book them as traitors. Patriotism, discipline and honesty should be revived. K. K. Lakshmanan Coimbatore * * *
This refers to the article on the serial blasts. The article concluded with a note to Muslim community that their young should get quality education, but did not expand on what is “quality education”. Listed below are some basic aspects of “quality education” that must be taught to growing Muslim children. Children at madrassas must be taught the physical laws of nature and its functioning. Cosmic origin, including Big Bang theory, etc., should be taught. Children should be taught about the immensity of the universe and its true age and the scientific aspects of the creation of the universe. T.
