Hyderabad, Aug. 1

K N R Constructions Ltd, engaged in infrastructure development, has reported a net profit of Rs 10.16 crore on a total income of Rs 170.23 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008. The basic and diluted earning per share (EPS-not annualised) of the company was Rs 3.61. The company’s board which met here on Thursday took on record the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. This is the first year the company has prepared interim financi al results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, hence comparable figures for the corresponding quarter period are not available. The company has ongoing construction activities in all the fields including highway construction and irrigation, said Mr K. Narasimha Reddy, Managing Director, in a press release.
