NRE deposit rates reduced

Hyderabad, Aug.1

Andhra Bank has reduced interest rates on Non Resident External (NRE) term deposits (rupee accounts). The interest on deposits for one year and less than two years now stands at 3.25 per cent (as against 3.31 per cent), two years and less than three years at 3.50 per cent (3.60 per cent), for three years at 3.86 per cent (3.95 per cent). The revised rates are effective from August 1, according to a release. –
