RINL achieves record turnover

Visakhapatnam, Aug. 2

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) here has achieved a record sales turnover of Rs 3,904 crore between April and July 31, according to a press release. During the corresponding period last year, the turnover was Rs 2,758 crore. The sale of 5.6 lakh tonnes of value-added steel, 41 per cent hike was a significant feature during the period. A quantity of 25,573 tonnes of steel was supplied to the rural areas through the district-level dealers. During the period, the plant produ ced 7,23,264 tonnes of value-added steel, adds the release.
