NSB meeting at Paradip

Paradip Port Trust is to host the next meeting of the National Shipping Board to be held at Paradip on August 12.

The meeting is being held after several postponements.

The 22-member National Shipping Board, currently headed by Mr Santosh Nautiyal, former Nautical Adviser, is supposed to meet every quarter to review various maritime issues.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Shipping Corporation of India, the Director General of Shipping, senior officials in the shipping ministry, Coast Guard, Indian Navy and representatives of the unions, among others, are the members of NSB.
