New chairman for Tuticorin Port

Kolkata, Aug. 5

Mr G J Rao has taken over as the Chairman of Tuticorin Port Trust. He succeeds Mr N Raghupathy, IAS, who relinquished office on completion of term. Prior to this, Mr Rao was Deputy Chairman of Chennai Port Trust.

An officer of port services, he also served New Mangalore Port Trust as its Deputy Chairman and Paradip Port Trust as Manager (Materials Management).
