Open-end spinning mills come under one body

Coimbatore, Aug. 5 Open-end spinning mills’ associations functioning at Vellakoil, Rajapalayam, Madurai and Udumalpet have decided to come under a united banner – Open End Spinning Mills Association – with Coimbatore as its headquarters.

At a meeting here on Tuesday, Mr Rameshkumar Tibrewal of Jagannath Textiles was elected President of this association.

The other office-bearers of Open End Spinning Mills Association are: Secretary - Ms G. Arulmozhi of Supreme Mills (India) Pvt Ltd; Vice-president - Mr R. Kittuswamy of Vellakovil-based Swamy Palaniandavar Spinning Mills; Joint Secretary - Mr P.S. Sivaprasad of Seetharam Mills; Treasurer - Mr Ramprasad of Sri Mahalakshmi Spinners.
