New Delhi, Aug. 6 Business Process Outsourcing major Genpact Ltd on Wednesday posted a 250 per cent rise in net income for the second quarter ended June 2008 to $24.8 million compared to the year-ago period, on the back of better pricing, margin leverage from its re-engineering business, and lower taxes.

The company’s net income margin for the second quarter of 2008 increased to 9.8 per cent, from 3.5 per cent in the second quarter of 2007. Its revenue stood at $253.6 million.
