Venu, will be the committees Chairman and Convener, respectively, of the committee, while the Chairman of the Kerala State Electricity Board, Tourism Director and the secretaries of related departments will be the members.

The Minister for Tourism, Mr Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, said after a meeting of top officials of the Water Resources, Electricity and Irrigation departments here that the dams and the areas in their vicinity were already attracting tourists and the Government had drawn up several projects to convert these places into tourism destinations.
