Yala Mobiles to set up retail chain

Hyderabad, Aug 8

Yala Mobiles and Computers, a Hyderabad-based company, on Thursday announced it opened a chain of eight mobile phone stores and plans to have 15 of them by August 15 and around 50 by September-end. Addressing a press conference here, Mr Yala Venkat, Chairman, said that the company plans to invest about Rs 15 crore and set up 250 stores across Andhra Pradesh by the year-end. The company has entered the business of opening retail chain based on franchisee model. The mobile s tore apart from selling latest mobile phones, will also serve as a centre to help payment of mobile, landline, Dish TV, electricity and water bills, he said. –
