Samsung unveils Onam offer

Kochi, Aug. 13

Samsung India has unveiled its Onam promotion scheme – Samsung Chakkarkudam Offer. The promotion derives its name from the chakkarkudams (jaggery pots) that will be placed at dealer counters, which will have scratch cards containing the name of the gift that the customer would have won with the purchase of a Samsung product. The promotion period of the offer is till September 15 and each Samsung product purchased during the period entitles the customer to a gift. The company is giving a Tata Sky connection with every Samsung LCD and a 4-DVD (Malayalam) movie pack with every DVD player during the promotion period. Mr R. Zutshi, Deputy Managing Director, Samsung India, said that Kerala continues to be an important market and the company is expecting to register a growth of over 40 per cent in this market this year. –
