Tourism States - Maharashtra Tata Group’s ‘Jagriti Yatra’ Our Bureau Mumbai, Aug. 13 Tata Group and Jagriti Sewa Sansthan, an NGO that promotes entrepreneurship, jointly announced the launch of the ‘Tata Jagriti Yatra 2008’ on Wednesday. This nationwide, experiential train journey in which 400 select youths will participate will begin on December 24. “The participants, aged between 18-25 years, from India and overseas will interact with social and economic entrepreneurs across the country during the 18-day train journey,” said Mr Shashank Mani, Chairman, Jagriti Sewa Sansthan. The Tata Jagriti Yatra 2008 train will leave Mumbai on December 24, 2008 and cover 13 cities and villages of India and return to Mumbai on Jan 10, 2009, after covering around 8,000 km in 18 days.
