New Delhi, Aug. 13

The Mauritius Ambassador, Mr M. Choonee, has been conferred with the Ishan National Award for his role in promoting Indo-Mauritius cooperation. The award has been instituted by the Ishan Institute of Management and Technology. The event also saw at least 21 meritorious students bagging awards including foreign trip for academic excellence. Speaking on the occassion, Mr Choonee said both India and Mauritius share similar cultural background. He also stressed on the importan ce of management education saying the students will be the future leaders. Dr D.K. Garg, Chairman of the Institute, also addressed the gathering. –
