Lloyds Metals to deregister from BIFR

Coimbatore, Aug. 14

With its net worth becoming positive Lloyds Metals & Engineers Ltd’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on August 14 has decided to make an application to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) for deregistration of the company from the purview of the provisions of Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985. The shares of the company closed at Rs 62.70, down 3.98 per cent on the BSE on Thursday.
