Clarification

With reference to the report, ‘India-Asean Free Trade pact launch in Jan or June’, published in these columns on August 9, the Department of Commerce clarifies that India has agreed to bind its duty on crude palm oil with Asean at 37.5 per cent by 2018 and not at 37 per cent as reported.
