Loxodrome opens facility at Pune

Our Bureau

Pune, Aug. 18 Legal process outsourcing company Loxodrome Solutions Inc has opened a new facility at Pune for its wholly owned subsidiary, Loxodrome Solutions India Pvt Ltd headquartered in Mumbai.

“We have selected Pune for our India operations because of its advanced infrastructure and proximity to top Indian Law Schools,” said Mr Sanjay Nath, CFO, Loxodrome. The company hires top-tier practising LLMs and LLBs to provide service to our clients.

Mr Laxman Narasimhan, Director at McKinsey & Company said, “Companies in the LPO industry are poised to capitalise on four trends impacting law firms globally – growing client “purchasing” sophistication; globalisation of demand from existing clients; new growth opportunities emerging outside the US; and shortage of experienced talent. As a result, law firms are following different strategies, including some players globalising, pursuing consolidation (particularly for mid-sized firms), rethinking their business models and exploring new approaches to dealing with the talent shortage. Off-shoring legal services is a clear opportunity for law firms and increasingly for corporate entities.”

The Pune facility was designed by Meta Arch, which has designed facilities for multinationals such as Yahoo India, Mercedes Benz and Texas Instruments. “We needed a facility that enables both team work and security,” said Vidya Swaminathan, Vice-President of Global Operations for Loxodrome.
