Train service to be restored

Mangalore, Aug. 18

The railway link between Mangalore and Bangalore, which was severed on August 10, will be restored on Tuesday.

A press release by the Southern Railway said here on Monday that Train No. 6517/6518 Yeshwantpur- Mangalore Central-Yeshwantpur Express, which was cancelled due to continuous rain and landslip, will start its regular service on August 19.

A landslip on railway tracks between Yedakumeri and Siribagilu stretch of Mangalore-Bangalore railway line on August 10 disrupted movement of trains on the line. - Our Bureau
