The Hindu Business Line : Upasi meet on Sept 9

The 115th annual conference of the United Planters' Association of Southern India (Upasi) is slated for September 9 at Coonoor. The Union Minister of State for Commerce and Power, Mr Jairam Ramesh, is to be the chief guest and Mr R. Prabhu, Member of Parliament, Nilgiris, the guest of honour. As in the past, the main conference is being preceded by a session on commodities on September 8 and this is to be chaired by the Chairmen of the respective boards - tea, coffee, rubber and spices. - Our Bureau
