Alliances & Joint Ventures Infotech enters 3-year deal with IHS Our Bureau Hyderabad, Aug. 19 Infotech Enterprises has signed a three-year contract with IHS Inc, marking its entry into the oil and gas sector. Infotech will support this through a centre of excellence to be located in its Kakinada facility. IHS is a provider of information and insight dedicated to providing data and expertise in the oil and gas sphere. Its solutions span four areas of information that encompass energy, product lifecycle, security and environment. Focus on accuracyIHS enables Governments and multinational companies in more than 180 countries. This contract focuses primarily on solutions for improving accuracy of the information pertaining to energy and engineering. Infotech will support IHS in data accumulation in the oil and gas industry along with support in the engineering area. Key to growthThe Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech, Mr BVR Mohan Reddy, in a statement said “this contract is key to the growth of our oil and gas practice.
