Storage Corporate - People Surender Kumar Tuteja takes over as Chairman of NBHC Our Bureau Mumbai, Aug 20 Former Union Food and Public Distribution Secretary, Mr. Surender Kumar Tuteja, has taken over as Chairman of the National Bulk Handling Corporation Ltd (NBHC), an integrated commodity and collateral management company promoted by Financial Technologies India Ltd (FTIL) that runs MCX. NBHC board has also inducted Dr. Tajamul Haque, ex-Chairman, Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices, Ministry of Agriculture and Mr. Paras Ajmera, Director, FTIL as new directors. Mr. Tuteja, Indian Administrative Service officer, Punjab Cadre, has also served as Chairman of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). Dr. Tajamul Haque was Director, Centre for Agrarian Studies at the National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad and also served as National Fellow at the National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, New Delhi. Mr. Paras Ajmera, a computer science engineer, heads Operations and HR at FTIL. He leads a team which provides solutions with practically zero downtime for trading activities in exchanges such as Multi Commodity Exchange of India, Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange, Safal National Exchange (SNX) and Indian Energy Exchange. Mr. Anil K. Choudhary, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, NBHC said Mr. Tuteja’s experience across various sectors, more particularly, in the food and warehousing sector, will be of immense value in guiding NBHC through the next phase of development. Apart from the new directors, the NBHC board members include Mr. Jignesh Shah, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, FTIL, Mr. Anil K. Choudhary, Mr C.
