Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20

The Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach Resort, owned by Hotel Leelaventure Ltd, has received ISO 22000 certification. The certification for the 182-room hotel was done by the Denmark-based Bureau Veritas group. The certification is valid for three years and rigorous surveillance audits will be conducted by the group to assure maintenance of quality. “ISO 22000 certification is the benchmark for hygiene standards,” said Mr Biswajit Chakraborty, General Manager, The L eela Kempinski Kovalam Beach.
