Coimbatore, Aug. 21 Damodar Threads Ltd has fixed September 9 as the record date for the purpose of rights issue of equity shares.

Harita Seating Systems Ltd proposes to enter into a joint venture with FS Fehrer Automotive GmbH, Germany, a specialist in vehicle interior components. The venture will be engaged in polyurethane moulded foam pads for seats and plastic components and two-wheeler seats for the automotive markets and has potential to expand product portfolio into armrests and head rests.

Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd has said that Mr Atul Gupta, Managing Director, has resigned from the Board of Directors of the company.

Infotech Enterprises Ltd has set up a marketing and liaison office in Japan and full-fledged operations will commence shortly.

Tulsyan NEC Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with Budhrani Group of Companies, Mumbai, to set up a steel making and rolling mill of 60,000 tonnes p.a. in Nigeria on a joint venture basis to manufacture long products. The proposed company undertaking the project will be subsidiary of Tulsyan NEC Ltd.
